The "farmed animals" at CCR are  usually second hand animals, just like the dogs, or they are animals generally commercially used for food.

Some were true rescues, ransomed from slaughter.

Cochise Canine Rescue is primarily a dog rescue but we do have lots of "other" 2nd hand and rescued animals in residence ...from foundling birds, to elderly kitties, turtles, lizards, equines... and a growing number of farmed animals: chickens, ducks, a pair of turkeys, sheep, goats.... of course our pot belly pigs - Boarus and Natasha. 

Each life is precious.
